Wooden Windows launches new online window designer

Timber window manufacturer Wooden Windows, now part of StairBox, has launched a next-generation online window designer – which it says is a first for trade partners ordering and installing wooden windows in the UK.

The software is bringing traditional specification of new window projects into the digital age making it easier to visualise new window designs. Customers no longer need to wait 2-3 days for a quotation, with the new online builder generating instant online quotations and orders.

With accurate measurement tools and new customisation options trade customers and DIY homeowners can use the online tool to design their perfect windows with both flush casement, and lipped casement timber windows to choose from.

As part of the new upgrade to the online configuration tool, Wooden Windows has also launched new fully-painted window options with the most popular requested RAL colours such as winter white, anthracite grey, heritage green and cream now being available to order.

The Windows are pre-sprayed at their purpose-built spraying facility in Staffordshire and delivered directly to site in just 4 weeks with all hardware included, halving the time it takes to install.

Mike Walker, Managing Director at Wooden Windows and StairBox commented: “Launching this next generation of window designer for timber window installers is a proud moment for the Wooden Windows team. We have carefully considered the needs of both trade and DIY homeowners and built an online tool that speeds up and makes designing new timber windows easy and accurate.

“With the introduction of the fully-painted windows onto the design tool, this also takes our window production to the next level. We have spent time talking directly with our customers to ensure we can provide the most sought after paint colours so they can impress with their window projects.”
