Makita says “let there be light” with ML014G Tower Light

The new portable ML014G Tower Light from Makita is said to provide bright task lighting on construction sites where there is no power source.

Compatible with both 18V LXT and 40V XGT batteries, and providing a maximum luminous flux of 15,000 lumens, the Makita Tower Light is said to be easy to carry and set up.

Furthermore, the cordless, battery-operated site light offers “true flexibility”; trade professionals can adjust both the height and light angle extensively, to suit the application and provide optimal illumination.

The ML014G Tower Light features an integrated tripod, offering simple and stable set up via a slide handle.

Highly adaptable, users can manually adjust its height ranging from 1,085mm to 2,430mm.

The light angle can be adapted too. Designed to be as flexible as possible, its light base is combined with three separate light heads that can individually rotate 180 degrees vertically and horizontally.

Kevin Brannigan, Marketing Manager at Makita said: “With excellent portability, the new ML014G Tower Light addresses all of the key challenges when it comes to providing illumination on construction sites.

“Even with no mains power source available, users can get themselves set up and ready to work quickly and easily, benefitting from a wide, bright, adjustable light of 5,000 Kelvins.”

Finally, when used in combination with the Makita BL4080F and BL18120 Li-Ion batteries, the new ML014G Tower Light can achieve a run time of 48 hours at its minimum light level and 3.6 hours at its maximum.
