Wildgoose Rural Training receives footwear donation from Rockfall

Wildgoose Rural Training, a 42-acre care farm and nature reserve in Worcestershire, has received a generous donation of over 40 pairs of footwear from Rockfall to support its staff and volunteers in their daily work.

The charity, which provides land-based learning for more than 140 disabled adults and young people, operates across a diverse landscape that includes a six-acre farm and a 36-acre nature reserve.

With activities ranging from horticulture and animal care to pottery and conservation, staff and students are constantly engaged in hands-on tasks.

However, the challenging terrain—spanning swampy reed beds and tough gravel tracks—demands reliable footwear to ensure safety and comfort. Thanks to the donation from Rockfall, staff and volunteers can now navigate these environments with greater ease and confidence.

The team praised the donated footwear for its comfort and durability, allowing them to continue their important work without compromise.

“No matter what we do, the boots have come through!” one staff member remarked.

The donation gives a boost to Wildgoose Rural Training and reinforces its mission to provide meaningful learning opportunities in a safe and supportive setting.
