TTBS National Golf Day returns in scorching heat

The Timber Trades Benevolent Society (TTBS) National Golf Day has recently held at The Nottinghamshire Golf and Country Club.

And TTBS said it was a scorcher, with temperatures soaring into the early 30 degrees Celsius.

A fantastic 58 players took to the course to enjoy TTBS’ annual golf competition, on what was one of the hottest days of the year.

The day began with a 9-hole Greensomes competition, followed by an 18-hole Individual Stableford, providing plenty of competitive action and great camaraderie throughout.

The event concluded with a presentation dinner, where golfer Adam Morris presented the trophies to the deserving winners.

TTBS said it wanted to extend a huge thank you to its main sponsor, Trade Fabrication Systems, as well as the many generous hole sponsors, whose valued support reportedly helped make the day such a success.

Christella Golby, General Manager of Timber Trades’ Benevolent Society, said: “Congratulations to all of our winners and thank you to everyone who took part.

“We look forward to welcoming you all back for another fantastic TTBS National Golf Day next year!”
