Steve Hopwood celebrates a decade with CiiLOCK

November marked a significant milestone for Steve Hopwood, UK General Manager, as he celebrated his 10 year anniversary of working for CiiLOCK Engineering.

Since 2015, Steve has led the division through a period of sustained growth and helped CiiLOCK reach numerous milestones. Under his guidance, the UK branch has reportedly expanded its presence in both the UK and European Markets, strengthening its industry reputation, culminating in preparations to exhibit at both Polyclose and Fensterbau next year.

Before joining CiiLOCK, Steve worked for a partitions company, with CiiLOCK one of its valued customers. At the time, CiiLOCK was still in the early stages of servicing the UK Market, and Steve was invited to spearhead the Team.

Already familiar with the product range, Steve was said to be inspired by the innovation and precision that defines every CiiLOCK design. This connection made the transition natural, and since stepping into his role, he has continued to guide the UK business forward with determination and vision.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at CiiLOCK, Steve shared: “I admire the technical knowledge and skills that the team has.  They excel at problem solving and produce hardware solutions that I am proud to stand by”.

He added: “Building relationships is another part of my job that I really enjoy. CiiLOCK is big on customer service and working closely with clients to ensure we deliver exactly what they need to elevate their end products.”

Katie, Marketing Specialist for CiiLOCK concluded: “We are grateful that Steve chose to join us 10 years ago and we’re looking forward to celebrating many more milestones with him at the helm!”
