Soudal officially opens new National Distribution Centre

Soudal, said to be the largest independent European manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and PU foams, has officially cut the ribbon on its new 50,000ft² warehouse.

The opening of Soudal’s new warehouse facility took place in late February, where members of the Soudal UK team and guests gathered to celebrate the company’s ongoing growth and success. Councillor Debbie Bates, the Mayor of North Warwickshire, officiated the ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside Michael Gamble, Managing Director of Soudal UK.

This major new investment is said to represent Soudal’s ambitions for further growth, as well as commitment to the UK market. Coinciding with Soudal UK’s 30th anniversary year, the investment demonstrates significant confidence in the strength of operating within the community of Tamworth.

Forming part of Soudal’s long-term growth objectives, the new facility will reportedly enhance operational efficiency and strengthen national distribution capabilities.

Michael Gamble, Managing Director at Soudal (UK), said: “The opening of our new Tamworth warehousing facility marks a significant step in our growth strategy for the UK market. The warehouse will operate simultaneously with our current operations in Wilnecote, Tamworth, dramatically increasing our warehouse capacity and facilitating our plans for future growth. The new premises will enable us to continue delivering exceptional levels of service to our valued customers as we expand.”

Based in Tamworth for over 20 years, Soudal UK carefully selected the new site close to its existing offices in Wilnecote. This expansion will more than double current warehouse capacity, enabling the company to hold a wider range of products and respond to growing customer demands.

For installers, the increased capacity means greater availability and reduced lead times, helping to maintain a reliable supply chain and keep projects moving without delays, even during periods of high demand.

This major milestone is said to reinforce Soudal’s commitment to innovation, service, and sustainable growth.
