Simon Jarman Shares Insights in Latest Expert Series Session

Simon Jarman, CEO and Founder of Clever Bean Accounting, delivered the latest Expert Series session, hosted by The Joinery Network and its Director, Luke Piper.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the home improvement and fenestration sectors – including time as CEO of Everest – Simon has worked with businesses of all sizes in a range of high-profile roles.

In 2023, he founded Clever Bean Accounting, a fast-growing firm specialising in supporting glazing, joinery and home improvement companies. Since then, the business has quickly become a trusted financial partner to firms across the sector.

Simon’s Meet the Experts talk provided attendees with valuable insights, including:

  • common ways companies leak profits and drain cash
  • how to use budgeting and forecasting to drive growth
  • why accurate data capture is essential for success

During the session, Simon emphasised the challenges of running a company. He said: “It’s a lonely place being a business owner. That’s why bookkeeping can become such an important part of the journey.”

He also reassured those who may feel daunted by financial management that it doesn’t have to be complicated.

“We don’t want to try to solve world hunger on day one,” he explained. “Simple budgeting and measuring key metrics can really help business owners stay on top of their finances.”

The full session will be available soon on The Joinery Network’s YouTube channel. For businesses looking to learn more, or to work directly with Simon and Clever Bean Accounting, a free Discovery Call can be booked here: https://cleverbeanaccounting.co.uk/contact/
