Roots to Wellbeing boosted by £2,079 donation from Leitz

The latest Joinery Network (TJN) event hosted by Biesse UK raised £409.90 for Leitz Tooling’s chosen charity of the year, Roots to Wellbeing, taking the 2025 fundraising total to £2,079.

Ben Mitchell, Marketing Manager at Leitz Tooling, said: “As tooling manufacturers for TJN’s Lignum window and door system, we play an integral role at all the manufacturing open days. The latest one at Biesse was fantastic, as it was the first time we could showcase our tools on their CNC machines.

“A £10 nominal charge is made when people book through Eventbrite, and the latest event raised just over £400, which always goes to charity. Our chosen cause is Roots to Wellbeing, a local charity in our hometown of Harlow. This additional amount takes our 2025 total to £2,079 so far!

“Donations to local charities like this make a huge difference, funding vital services for the community. Thank you to everyone who contributed — we’re proud to support such a worthwhile organisation this year.”

Roots to Wellbeing is a non-profit community interest organisation in Harlow, supporting mental, emotional, cognitive, and physical health at every life stage. It offers activities such as cycling, Nordic walking, yoga, therapeutic counselling, and groups for families and adults. The charity also provides specialist support for families of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
