PiGs launches new website for glazing community

Modern Joinery’s sister publication, PiGs AKA People in Glazing Society, has launched its new website, www.peopleinglazing.co.uk.

The new website has been designed to be the ‘beating heart of the glazing industry’ and will be an online media hub for events and news, along with the home of the Two PiGs in a Pod podcast.

The new website also features PiGs’ upcoming events, including all the sponsors who support the networking evening. All the information about dates, times and sponsors are easy to find. The PiGs networking events are very popular, and attendance numbers were at a record high for all events in 2024.

The PiGs networking events are legendary, and renowned for bringing together glazing professionals from across the supply chain — from systems companies and fabricators to installers and component suppliers, all are in attendance regularly, providing unparalleled opportunities for networking.

The new website highlights the latest people-centred industry news as well as insights, keeping members informed about the latest developments and trends within the glazing sector.

The PiGs website will also continue to promote the latest charity initiatives from the sector, including the PiGs Charity of the Year 2025 & 2026 Harry’s Pals.

To demonstrate the PiGs focus on the people in glazing, the site has a brand-new jobs board to connect the right employers with the right candidate – all FREE of charge for employers.

PiGs STY Master Sarah Ball, who is also the Founder of Modern Joinery, was undoubtedly excited about the launch.

She said: “I am super happy with the new site. After expanding what we do in 2024, the new site had to reflect that. We now have a fully integrated site that will be a great place for everyone in the glazing supply chain.

“Huge thanks to Balls2 Marketing for delivering the new upgraded site. We love the curly tails and muddy puddles! For George and myself to see all our wishes come to reality, is brilliant. Thanks to the whole team.

“This website is FOR the people in glazing, BY the people in glazing. We hope that you find it interesting, informative and inspiring.”
