PiGs thanks Yale for charity wristbands sponsorship

PiGs AKA People in Glazing Society has expressed its thanks to Yale Door and Window Solutions for supplying the wristbands for the PiGs events in 2025 and 2026. The bands, which support PiGs’ Charity of the Year, Harry’s Pals, are worn by all guests at the PiGs networking events.

The personal delivery of the wristbands from Events and Exhibition Lead at Assa Abloy, Lauren Snape, coincided with the first PiGs networking event of 2025 in Birmingham. Lauren was later joined by more team members from Yale Door and Window Solutions, who are long-standing supporters of both UK-based and international PiGs events.

A big commitment

Sarah Ball, PiGs STY Master said: “PiGs belongs to the glazing industry, and it’s a testament to the kindness and generosity of companies like Yale that makes it great. Supporting Harry’s Pals is massively important to us, and we are committed to raising £100,000 over the next two years for the charity. Their ambition is to offer a support pack in every hospital for parents and carers receiving devastating diagnoses about their child.”

“Hayley Charlesworth, founder of the charity, didn’t want other parents to be in the position with no help and support, as she was when her son Harry was born. Harry’s dad is industry expert Andy Charlesworth, who climbed Kilimanjaro in 2024 with the PiGs team.”

“To raise money for the charity, a PiGs industry team will be trekking the Inca Trail in October 2026. But the first thing we have to do is raise awareness of the charity, and giving out wristbands at our events is part of that program. They certainly went down well at our first event in 2025 in Birmingham.”

“Having Yale’s branding alongside Harry’s Pals and PiGs makes it easier, and the generosity shown by Yale in supplying 2,000 wristbands could not have been better.”
