Peksan Door celebrates Fire Safety Event debut

Gülin Yavuzlar Ozer, Export Specialist at wooden door producer, Peksan Door, shares her highlights from the company’s debut at the recent Fire Safety Event at the NEC in Birmingham.

“We just finished exhibiting at The Fire Safety Event in Birmingham. As it was our first time at the NEC as Peksan Door, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect, but the interest from visitors was actually quite high.

“On our stand, we exhibited four of our fire-rated doors. Also, the small door cross-sections we brought were very popular. These sections made it easier for us to explain the technical side of our FD30, FD60, and FD90 cores in detail. Visitors wanted to see the quality of the materials inside the doors, and it was a good way to show our expertise directly.

“The best part for us was the feedback. We heard: “We are seeing you here for the first time!” many times during the show. A lot of visitors also commented on the stand design, which was a proud moment for our whole team. It was good to see that our brand is being noticed in the UK market.

“It was also great to have our certification body visit the stand. Seeing them happy with how we displayed the certificates at the show was a nice touch. It gave the whole team a good feeling and shows that our focus on quality and safety is definitely worth the effort.

“The UK market looks promising for our certified and sustainable solutions. We are leaving Birmingham with many new contacts, and now we’ll see how these conversations turn into real projects.

“A big thank you to the community for the warm welcome, we look forward to seeing you all again soon!”
