Paul Bullivant Completes Yorkshire Marathon for ANDYSMANCLUB

Paul Bullivant of Howarth Timber and Building Supplies has successfully completed the Yorkshire Marathon alongside his wife Gayle Bullivant, raising funds and awareness for ANDYSMANCLUB, the men’s mental health charity behind the #ITSOKAYTOTALK campaign.

Paul crossed the finish line in 4 hours and 47 minutes, achieving his target of completing the marathon in under five hours. “I was aiming for a sub-five-hour finish and came in at 4:47 in decent shape, so I’m chuffed with that,” he said. “Mission possible!”

Reflecting on the event, Paul added with good humour: “I even managed a personal best on energy gel consumption. Nine without any incidents and came away with just two black toenails to show for it. I’m feeling sore but surprisingly good today!”

During the run, Paul connected with another participant supporting ANDYSMANCLUB, who is planning to take on the London Marathon next year. “It was a great reminder that running can bring people together and start conversations that really matter,” Paul added.

“The support was overwhelming. I can’t thank everyone enough for the donations, messages, and encouragement. Every bit of support makes a difference to the work ANDYSMANCLUB does.”

Paul also took the opportunity to encourage others to keep spreading the message: “If you or someone you know is struggling, please remember – it’s okay to talk. ANDYSMANCLUB is there to listen.”
