NorDan UK appointments strengthen leadership team

NorDan UK has announced the introduction of two new senior leadership roles as part of a strategic strengthening of regional delivery and customer support across England and Scotland, with Lou Johnson and David Gillon being appointed to the roles.

The new positions – Regional Managing Director, England and Regional Managing Director, Scotland are said to reflect NorDan UK’s continued expansion and commitment to resilient, responsive service in a construction market that is evolving rapidly and performing unevenly across regions and sectors.

With a heritage spanning more than 100 years, NorDan has reportedly built its reputation on long-term resilience, adaptability and consistent delivery through changing economic cycles.

In the UK, the business has developed at pace in recent years, supported by sustained growth and recent acquisitions. As NorDan UK continues to scale, each region is said to increasingly require dedicated leadership focused on its own opportunities, customer expectations and market dynamics.

The new structure strengthens management capacity across the business, keeping leadership closer to customers and teams, supporting faster decision-making, and improving alignment across regions. It also creates clearer progression pathways, helping develop internal talent and build the next generation of NorDan leaders.

NorDan UK is pleased to confirm the appointments of: Lou Johnson, Regional Managing Director – England and David Gillon, Regional Managing Director – Scotland.

NorDan congratulated both individuals on their appointments and wishes them every success as they take on these new leadership roles.

Craig Greenwood, Managing Director, NorDan UK, said: “As our  business continues to grow, it’s important we keep investing in the people and leadership capability that sit behind our performance.

“These roles strengthen that capability and reinforce the platform we’re building for the future. I’d like to congratulate Lou Johnson and David Gillon on their appointments. They both bring strong experience and a clear understanding of what NorDan stands for, and I’m confident they’ll make a significant impact in their new roles.”
