MACO joins BWF to support UK timber sector

MACO has announced that it has become an Associate Member of the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) for 2026, which is said to reinforce its commitment to supporting the UK’s timber manufacturing and joinery sectors.

Working closely with timber manufacturers, joinery specialists and system partners, MACO has developed a comprehensive hardware portfolio designed specifically for timber applications.

The range is engineered to deliver high levels of performance, security and long-term durability while preserving the craftsmanship and character that define timber windows and doors.

As demand for high-quality, sustainable timber products continues to grow, MACO sees its BWF membership as an important opportunity to strengthen relationships across the sector, share technical expertise and contribute to industry discussions that help shape the future of timber construction.

Jemma Brookes, Head of Product Management at MACO, said: “Rejoining the BWF is a natural step for us.
