Leitz Tooling UK celebrates PWE 2026 success

Leitz Tooling UK is said to be celebrating a highly successful showcase at the Professional Woodworking Expo (PWE) 2026, held at the NEC Birmingham from 23-25 June 2026.

The three-day event reportedly proved to be a hub of industry innovation, providing an exceptional platform for Leitz to display its award-winning, German-engineered tooling solutions to thousands of dedicated joinery, furniture and woodworking professionals.

A key highlight of the show was said to be Leitz’s prominent role in the dynamic Window Manufacturing Zone.

Working in a seamless, high-profile collaboration with The Joinery Network and Vertongen/ Martin agent, Markfield Woodworking Machinery, Leitz demonstrated live timber frame window production.

The feature drew strong crowds, with attendees eager to witness how integrated premium tooling can dramatically optimise workshop workflows, eliminate manufacturing bottlenecks like sanding, and effortlessly meet strict building compliance standards like PAS 24.

Brian Maddox, Leitz National Sales Manager and industry veteran, weighed in on his experience at the show.

He said: “The best part of the show for us was the customer feedback.

“We had a lot of our customers come to the show and it was exciting to show them our newest solutions like the DFC Turbine for nesting or our new FineCut saw blade.

“What we’ve seen is more and more manufactures are looking to tooling to improve productivity and lower costs…and we are happy to help.”

Following this year’s success, Leitz Tooling UK is reportedly already looking forward with immense enthusiasm to the Professional Woodworking Expo 2027, scheduled for 22-24 June, once again at the NEC Birmingham.

Leitz is encouraging all visitors to book in to see them in 2027.
