Leitz Tooling launches FineCut

To mark its 150th anniversary, Leitz Tooling has launched FineCut, a circular saw blade technology that the company says challenges one of the industry’s longest-standing conventions; the need for a separate scoring saw blade.

By integrating the scoring function directly into the main blade, FineCut reportedly delivers tear-free bottom edges, exceptional cut quality, and streamlined production processes.

The tooth geometry creates a score as its cutting – removing lengthy setup time and downtime between operations.

Suitable for all conventional panel materials, this blade uses high-grade diamond that is graded for application, resulting minimal wear when cutting and long tool life.

This allows machinist to focus on what they do best, increasing part output.
