Geocel relaunches range with new look

Geocel has consolidated its sealant, adhesive and filler products, and re-launched the range with new packaging designed to make choosing the right product easier for installers.

A new ‘Powered by Dow’ mark will also highlight products that benefit from ‘Dow silicone inside’, while Contractor and Trade Mate products are now available under one distinct Geocel brand, with a new naming convention.

With products including Sanitary Silicone, Frame Silicone and Multi-purpose Silicone, product selection has been made easier than ever before.

Andrew Cummins, Geocel’s Product Manager, said: “We’re excited to bring to market an invigorated range of products that cover a wide range of everyday applications for builders, plumbers, decorators, roofers and joiners.

“Whilst Geocel’s silicone products have always benefited from the superior UV stability, temperature and weather resistance of DOW technology, this hasn’t been obvious before.

“As choosing a high-quality silicone is crucial to achieving a long-lasting finish, we’ve therefore also made it clearer to installers that Geocel offers the very best, with a Powered by Dow mark.”

Officially launched at this year’s InstallerSHOW, key products in the range include Sanitary, Frame and Multi-purpose Silicone and incorporate high-quality ingredients and reliable science.

A fast-curing sealant, Geocel’s Sanitary Silicone is suitable for jobs that require flawless sealing around sanitary units and non-porous surfaces, providing excellent unprimed adhesion, prevention against cracking, shrinking or discolouring, and remaining permanently flexible with a high movement capability.

While the expertly curated formulation of the Frame Silicone makes it ideal for external door and window frames including PVC-U, coated aluminium and painted surfaces, providing superior protection against weather, combined with excellent adhesion and high movement capability.

As its name suggests, Multi-purpose Silicone is ideal for a variety of construction applications, making it an easy-to-use tool. With its reliability and suitability to a range of substrates and projects, this is the perfect product to keep in your toolkit.
