Elmbridge UK goes live with The Joinery Network

The Joinery Network’s Live Wood Painting and Coatings event, hosted by affiliate member Elmbridge UK, was a huge success for everyone who attended.

This series of live events, organised by The Joinery Network in conjunction with its partners and affiliate members, is designed to offer practical information, advice, and support to joinery companies. Last week’s event at Elmbridge UK attracted 39 attendees for a day filled with live demonstrations, showing quick wins to improve paint lines and presenting the latest techniques and technology in action.

The day began with brief introductions from Barrie Freeman of Elmbridge; Owen Dare, Director at The Joinery Network; and Craig Lovatt of Remmers. The knowledgeable Elmbridge team then took the lead, with additional expertise provided by Remmers and Matthew Allen of Wagner.

The highlight of the event was the paint demonstration in the state-of-the-art spray booth, where Elmbridge’s paint technicians guided visitors through the step-by-step process of applying primer and topcoat to windows and doors, using eco-friendly water-based paints. There was even an opportunity for visitors to try their hand at the process.

In addition to the paint demos, The Joinery Network’s partners and affiliate members were on hand to offer visitors valuable insights on best practices and to introduce their range of innovative products and services within The Joinery Network’s expert marketplace.

Barrie Freeman, Director of Elmbridge UK, commented: “Partnering with The Joinery Network for our first event was a fantastic opportunity. We were delighted with the feedback from both network partners and guests. It was a highly successful day, and we look forward to hosting another event in the future.”

Andy Ball, Director of The Joinery Network, agreed: “This was a valuable day for everyone who attended, allowing members to receive expert advice on painting windows and doors. Thank you to the Elmbridge team for being excellent hosts. We will be back soon.”
