Derek Barrett to join David Todd on TJN’s Expert Series Session

The Joinery Network’s (TJN’s) Expert Series on Friday 19 September with Professional Woodworking Expo (PWE) has just got even better, with Derek Barrett of Derek Barrett Design – furniture designer and social media expert – joining as an additional speaker.

Derek is also on the Advisory Board for PWE and brings both expertise in furniture design and social media to the table. Derek said: “I believe that exceptional furniture starts and ends with a deep understanding of my clients’ needs – both aesthetic and functional.

“Since then, the business has gone from strength to strength, backed by glowing testimonials and a loyal following of over 200k on my social channels.

“I’m excited to share how showcasing my journey on social media has helped fuel that growth, along with the key machinery investments that have supported me along the way.”

PWE is one of the UK’s most important trade events for woodworking and joinery professionals, and its team knows first-hand how exhibitions can spark innovation, foster collaboration, and boost profits.

Luke Piper, Director at TJN and host of the Expert Series, added: “We were already excited to hear from Exhibition Director David Todd, and adding Derek means there are even more reasons to tune in. This looks like it will be a dynamic session not only for our members, but for anyone exhibiting or thinking of exhibiting at PWE.

“The Expert Series is designed to bring together top people in the industry direct to members of TJN, and getting both David and Derek to share their knowledge, expertise and insights is a real coup for the network.”
