DCE sponsors Women in Timber event
This year, Dust Control Environmental (DCE) says it has proudly taken the opportunity to support Women in Timber (WIT) through sponsorships of the annual seminar event.
Now in its second year, this inspiring event will be held in Leeds on Thursday 1 October 2026, and promises to bring together a dynamic community of professionals from across the timber industry.
With a fantastic line-up of speakers, the seminar will showcase a range of perspectives, and insights from women who are experiencing the daily highs and lows of working within the timber industry.
Seminar delegates can look forward to a full programme that includes engaging panel discussions, practical hands-on workshops, and valuable networking opportunities. It’s a chance not only to learn and develop new skills, but allows time to network, building connections with like-minded individuals.
Sally Moores, Marketing Manager for DCE, commented: “We’re especially pleased to support a network that plays an important role in recognising women in the timber trade. By encouraging open conversations around challenges and opportunities, the event provides tools and shared experiences helping to drive positive changes across the sector.”
DCE reportedly offers one of the UK’s most extensive ranges of dust and fume extraction systems. This scope of equipment enables them to design and deliver precisely engineered units tailored to individual processes, including the effective control of wood dust, shavings.
With high performing dust extraction, DCE ensures clients will benefit from safe, compliant, and efficient working environments, protecting both employees and equipment from hazardous airborne particulates.
DCE says it is looking forward to being a part of the WIT event later in the year, and supporting a day of learning and networking in Leeds.
