CB Solutions celebrates triple award win
East Yorkshire-based manufacturer, CB Solutions, is celebrating a “landmark day” after receiving recognition at the MMC Awards, held at The Grand Hotel in Birmingham.
The company was awarded Supply Chain Partner of the Year, which is said to recognise excellence, innovation and outstanding service within the Modern Methods of Construction sector.
The celebrations continued when CB Solutions Owner, Chris Burrell, was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognised his decades of dedication and contribution to the industry.
The award was made even more poignant given Chris’ remarkable personal journey over recent years. Following the diagnosis of a serious blood condition, Chris underwent two stem cell transplants, both of which unfortunately failed, alongside several life-threatening health complications.
Despite these immense challenges, he has continued to lead and support the business with determination, resilience and passion.
Adding to the company’s success, Kerry Taylor of CB Solutions was also recognised nationally after being shortlisted for the Women in Modern Methods of Construction Award amongst a strong line-up of industry professionals from across the UK.
CB Solutions said the highlight of the day was undoubtedly seeing Chris receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. Chris has shown unbelievable resilience through some extremely difficult personal health battles whilst continuing to support and lead the business. His passion for both CB Solutions and the wider industry is said to be unwavering, and this recognition was thoroughly deserved.
The company said it was also incredibly proud to see Kerry recognised on a national stage as a finalist for the Women in MMC Award amongst such a strong field of nominees.
The recognition is said to mark another major milestone for CB Solutions, as the business continues to strengthen its position within the UK MMC market.
