Biesse “brings home the World Cup”

Despite England not bringing home the World Cup, Biesse says it is always looking for new ways to showcase what’s possible with advanced manufacturing technology.

Recently, its Explora Multi Up M C CNC machine stepped away from its usual role in the automotive and aerospace sectors to take on a slightly different challenge, creating Biesse’s very own World Cup from wood.

Designed to handle high-capacity production and complex machining operations, the Explora Multi Up M C demonstrated exceptional versatility across a wide range of materials.

For this project, Biesse chose wood to highlight both the machine’s precision and its flexibility, proving that high-performance CNC technology can be just as effective for creative projects as it is for industrial applications.

Working alongside Solid Solutions, using the power of SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDCAM, and with the expertise of skilled Biesse Operator, Jonathan Visona, the company transformed an idea into reality.

While the project was a bit of fun inspired by the World Cup spirit, it also served as a great demonstration of what modern manufacturing technology can achieve when innovative software, advanced machinery, and skilled people come together.
