Prime Sash Windows named Manufacturer MX Awards finalist

Prime Sash Windows, powered by Joinery Core, has been named a finalist in the Smart Factory category at The Manufacturer MX Awards 2026, which is said to recognise the company’s continued investment in modern manufacturing and digital technology.

Based in Essex, Prime Sash Windows manufactures bespoke timber windows and doors, combining traditional joinery craftsmanship with increasingly modern production methods.

Over recent years, the business has invested in advanced CNC machinery and developed new digital systems to improve the way projects move through the workshop, from the initial customer enquiry to manufacturing and production.

A key part of this development has been Joinery Core, manufacturing management software developed within the business itself.

The system is used as part of Prime Sash Windows’ day-to-day operations, helping the team manage project information, production stages, scheduling, materials and other areas of the manufacturing process.

The company has also developed its own online 3D window and door configurator, giving customers the opportunity to design and visualise bespoke products before they reach the manufacturing stage.

These developments have been introduced alongside the traditional skills and craftsmanship that remain at the heart of the company’s timber window and door production.

Being selected as a finalist in the Smart Factory category is said to be a significant achievement for the relatively small team behind Prime Sash Windows and Joinery Core, reflecting the work that has gone into developing new systems, investing in manufacturing technology and continuously improving workshop processes.

The team is now looking forward to the next stage of The Manufacturer MX Awards 2026 and is proud to be recognised alongside other businesses investing in the future of UK manufacturing.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 11 November 2026.
