Clever Bean Accounting joins as GGF Member Benefits Partner

The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) has announced Clever Bean Accounting as its newest Member Benefit Partner, giving members access to specialist financial expertise designed specifically for businesses operating within the glazing, window, door and home improvement sector.

The new partnership is said to form part of the GGF’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the value of membership by providing practical services that help businesses improve performance, strengthen resilience and support long-term growth.

As part of the partnership, GGF members will receive an exclusive 25% discount on a Financial and Business Health Check, providing businesses with tailored financial insight and strategic advice from a team that understands the unique commercial challenges facing the industry.

Founded by Simon Jarman FCMA, Clever Bean Accounting combines extensive financial expertise with more than three decades of experience within the glazing industry.

Having held senior leadership positions back when it was the leading home improvement company in the UK, including Chief Executive Officer and Finance Director at Everest, Simon has first-hand knowledge of the operational and financial pressures businesses encounter every day.

The Financial and Business Health Check has been developed to help companies gain a clearer understanding of their financial performance while identifying opportunities to improve profitability, strengthen cash flow and increase operational efficiency.

Rather than focusing solely on historic financial reporting, the assessment provides practical recommendations that business owners can use to support future decision making and sustainable growth.

Amy Hopton-Smith, Head of Commercial and Operations at the GGF, said: “Supporting our members extends far beyond technical guidance and industry representation.

“We are continually looking for ways to provide practical benefits that help businesses operate more effectively and achieve long-term success.

“Clever Bean Accounting brings a wealth of industry knowledge and commercial expertise that will deliver genuine value to our members.”

The partnership is said to reflect the Federation’s wider focus on helping members navigate the commercial challenges facing today’s business environment.

Rising operating costs, continued economic pressures and increasing demands on business owners have reinforced the importance of having access to trusted professional advice from specialists who understand the sector.

The Health Check examines key areas including cash flow, profitability, pricing, business processes, cost control and operational performance.

By taking a strategic view of business performance, it helps companies identify opportunities for improvement and provides clear recommendations that can be implemented to support stronger financial outcomes.

Amy continued: “One of the strengths of this partnership is that members will be working with advisers who understand the realities of running a glazing business.

“That industry experience allows Clever Bean Accounting to provide practical advice that is relevant, achievable and focused on helping businesses grow with confidence.”

The introduction of Clever Bean Accounting follows the GGF’s continued investment in developing its Member Benefits programme.

Alongside technical support, training, government representation and industry guidance, the Federation continues to expand the range of services available to members, ensuring businesses can access support across every aspect of their operation.

By working with carefully selected organisations that understand the needs of the glass and glazing industry, the GGF aims to provide members with benefits that deliver measurable value and contribute to stronger business performance.

Simon Jarman, Founder of Clever Bean Accounting, said: “We understand the pressures businesses across the glazing industry face because we’ve experienced them ourselves.

“Our aim is to help owners gain greater clarity over their financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions that support sustainable growth. We’re delighted to be working with the GGF and look forward to supporting its members.”

Amy concluded: “Our role is to ensure GGF membership continues to deliver meaningful value. Partnerships such as this give members access to specialist expertise that can strengthen their businesses, support informed decision making and contribute to future success.

“We’re delighted to welcome Clever Bean Accounting as a GGF Member Benefit Partner.”
