BJ Waller backs Centor Bi-Fold for joiners

BJ Waller, the specialist supplier of hardware for timber windows and doors, is supporting joinery manufacturers with access to the Centor bi-fold hardware range, which reportedly combines high-performance systems with practical, application-led guidance.

Said to be widely used across premium timber door projects, Centor bi-fold systems are known for their smooth operation, clean aesthetics and long-term reliability. Designed as a top or bottom-loaded bi-fold system, Centor hardware supports large door panels, accommodates double and triple glazing and is suitable for both inward and outward-opening configurations.

For joinery manufacturers, the appeal is said to go beyond the finished product. Centor systems are designed with ease of assembly, installation and adjustment in mind, helping to streamline manufacturing processes while maintaining consistent performance onsite.

Luke Piper, Business Development Director – Timber at BJ Waller, commented: “Centor is a well-established bi-fold system within the joinery sector, particularly for timber door applications where performance matters.

“Our role is to help customers understand where it fits and make sure the hardware specification suits the application.

“Getting that right up front helps everything perform as expected once installed and reduces the likelihood of issues or call-backs further down the line.”

Centor’s E3 hardware system reportedly offers flexibility in door design, supporting panel sizes up to 1200mm wide and 3600mm high, with cycle testing equivalent to decades of daily use. Concealed hardware maintains clean sightlines, while integrated screens and shades remain hidden when not in use.

BJ Waller also supplies the F3 bottom-loaded roller option and the E2 system, ideal for commercial or residential use where panels weigh up to 60kg.

Available through BJ Waller, the Centor range is supported by a team with extensive experience in timber door hardware and specification.

“We’ve used Centor on a number of projects and it’s a system that always performs well for us. Having BJ Waller there to support with product knowledge makes the process that bit easier,” said Pawel Lach, Managing Director at PR Custom Joinery.
