Women in Fenestration confirms Development Day agenda

The Women in Fenestration Network has officially finalised the agenda for its first-ever Professional Development Day, taking place on 25 June, with strong interest already building from women across the fenestration supply chain.

Created to support, connect and inspire women at every stage of their careers, the event will bring together industry voices, expert speakers and practical sessions designed to build confidence, share knowledge and encourage progression.

Sarah Ball, founder of WFN, said: “The day is proving really popular for women across the supply chain and is designed to support women across the industry, wherever they are in their careers. We are aiming to make the Professional Development Day an annual event, and this inaugural event is shaping up to give us a hugely strong start.”

The day will feature a mix of keynote speaking, panel discussion, mentoring opportunities and networking, including a keynote from Sara Brearly, author of Why Won’t You Let Me Speak?, who will share practical tools to help women build confidence and be heard in the workplace.

There will also be a charity focus, with Hayley Charlesworth introducing Harry’s Pals, alongside a fundraising raffle on the day.

A panel discussion on breaking barriers in the industry will be hosted by Sioned Yates, while Carly Grant will lead a practical session exploring how tools like ChatGPT can support confidence, productivity and everyday work-life balance.
