Gowercroft’s Chris Parfitt’s Completes 100-mile Charity Challenge

Eight hours, one minute and eighteen seconds. That’s how long it took Gowercroft Joinery’s Chris Parfitt to complete his 100-mile charity cycle ride — and he did it with a smile (mostly).

Raising funds for Cancer Research UK, Chris pushed through every hill, headwind, and ache, proving that determination (and a decent saddle) can take you a long way. So far, he’s raised over £1,540, but there’s still time to show your support and help him reach his final target.

Colleagues at Gowercroft have been cheering him on, joking that he’s already asked whether his “replacement bum” is covered under their warranty scheme. One thing’s for certain: his grit, humour, and commit:ment to making a difference make him a true inspiration to the team.

If you’d like to help Chris finish strong, you can still donate via https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/christians-giving-page-2093?utm_medium=qr_code&utm_source=online_fundraising&fbclid=Iwb21leANd8J9jbGNrA13wmGV4dG4DYWVtAjExAAEeByVPse2urnH1h1ZPguS82XINySRrcteiOYAcXBaKoAyHhxaaUAkyvdhrUcA_aem_sc4lmAg5DUHuX58AXkDFzg.

Every pound helps – and makes those extra 0.06 miles he pedalled absolutely worth it!
