Modern Joinery’s Sarah Ball to Attend Women in Timber Event

Modern Joinery News Publisher, Sarah Ball, will be in attendance at the upcoming Women in Timber event, taking place Friday 5 September.

Hosted by Timber Development UK, the event brings together women from across the timber and construction industries to celebrate achievements, build connections, and inspire greater diversity in the sector.

Women in Timber provides a platform for networking, discussion, and sharing experiences among professionals who are shaping the future of the built environment. The event is designed to foster inclusivity, highlight role models, and support women working across the timber supply chain – from forestry through to joinery, design, and construction.

Sarah said: “I am very much looking forward to attending Women in Timber. It is encouraging to see initiatives like this gaining momentum, because women remain underrepresented in our industry. Events like this play an important role in raising visibility, building connections, and creating opportunities for greater inclusion.”

Timber Development UK’s Women in Timber initiative continues to grow as part of its commitment to promoting equality, sustainability, and innovation across the industry.
