SawStop to Make Professional Woodworking Expo Debut

SawStop will make its debut at the Professional Woodworking Expo, taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 17–19 May 2026.

Best known for its revolutionary brake technology, which instantly stops the blade on contact with skin, SawStop is set to bring its award-winning technology to Birmingham.

Daan ter Haar, Marketing Lead for SawStop Europe, commented: “We believe it’s time more European woodworkers experience what safety and performance should really look like.”

At the show, SawStop will showcase its flagship Professional Cabinet Saw, which the company says is considered the safest and most refined saw on the market.

Visitors can expect live demonstrations and hands-on opportunities to explore the saw’s capabilities, guided by experts who will be on hand to answer questions and provide in-depth insights.

David Todd, Event Director of the Professional Woodworking Expo, added: “SawStop has redefined what safety looks like in our industry. We’re thrilled to welcome them to the show, and we know our visitors will be excited to experience this innovation first-hand.”

The Professional Woodworking Expo, previous known as the Materials and Finishes Show, offers a unique platform for manufacturers, suppliers and tradespeople to connect, share knowledge, and discover the latest innovations in tools and materials.

SawStop’s presence at the show is to meet a growing demand for safer, more reliable equipment. It is hoping the show will provide a lasting impact to visitors across the three days of the show.
