David Salisbury Joinery hits national TV

David Salisbury Joinery has hit national TV, featuring in a nationwide ad campaign for NFU Mutual.

The Somerset-based joinery was buzzing with excitement as film crews rolled into the town of Highbridge, where David Salisbury are located, to shoot scenes for the commercial, set to air later this year.

The ad, shot at the company’s Bennett Road location, showcased employees loading materials into vans while the business owner chatted with his local NFU Mutual Agent.

Andrew Clarke, Manufacturing Director at David Salisbury, couldn’t hide his delight.

He said: “The whole team was thrilled! Everyone’s now eagerly waiting to see when it will air. Some of our staff even came in on Monday with fresh haircuts, buzzing with excitement—it was fantastic!”

To make room for the filming, the team cleared out the car park and some rooms inside, with several employees featured as extras. “Everything went like clockwork,” Andrew added. “It was amazing to watch it all come together.”

While some staff continued working inside, those who appeared in the advert were treated to cakes as a thank-you. “It was a fun day, and the energy across the business was incredible,” concluded Andrew.

The commercial was released in September, with it highlighting NFU Mutual’s commitment to local businesses.

Bev Mitchell, Marketing and Digital Director at NFU Mutual, said: “Highbridge was the perfect backdrop for our ad, and we were thrilled to feature David Salisbury Joinery, one of our loyal customers. We can’t wait to see it live on TV!”
