The countdown to PiGs Bristol is on!

The countdown to PiGs Bristol is on!

With the People in Glazing Society AKA PiGs’ second event of the year in Bristol just days away, there’s not long left for you to be able to attend the go-to industry networking event for those with connections in the glazing and fenestration sectors, including those that use timber.

The event will take place on Thursday 13 June in a brand-new location in Brown & Bye, Units 3-5 The Boathouse, Gasworks Lane, Brunel Quay, Bristol BS1 5AT, on which happens to be delightfully located near the Bristol harbourside, while also known for ‘PiGgin’ great woodfired pizzas.

Whether you already have connections within the glazing sector, or want to get to know more people, you’re welcome to join us. Our events are made to be relaxed and informal and are free to attend for those in the industry.

But to be able to put on these events, we cannot do it without the help of a fantastic group of companies who support us by sponsoring the events.

We would like to give a big thank you to our sponsors for PiGs Bristol, who are: AluK, Business Pilot, Council for Aluminium in Buildings (CAB), CiiLOCK Engineering, Emplas, FIT Show, Forel UK and Ireland, Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF), Glass Express Midlands, Glazerite, Glazpart, Haffner, Morley Glass, Quickslide, Regalead, Reynaers Aluminium, Selecta Systems, Soudal, Solidcore, Specialist Glass Products, Supalite, VEKA, WindowBase, Window Ware and Yale.

With their help, it means we can book the venue and put some money behind the bar for attendees to enjoy a free drink or two and some great food. This means all you have to focus on is seeing people you know, and getting to know people you don’t.

Sound interesting? There is still time for you to sponsor this event, or any of the remaining two events, in Newcastle on Thursday 22 August and in Manchester on Thursday 7 November. To sponsor an event costs £250. If interested, please contact Sarah Ball at sarah@balls2marketing.co.uk

Or if you simply just want to be part of our networking event, you can sign up for your free ticket here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/pigs-people-in-glazing-bristol-new-location-tickets-781238032987

And to help you get up to speed with the local ‘Brizzle’ language, we have developed our own ‘PiGs Guide to Speaking Bristolian’, which is available to read here: https://www.peopleinglazing.co.uk/a-pigs-guide-to-speaking-bristolian/

We hope to see you there.
