Joinery Network aims to give back to Glasgow charity

The Joinery Network has announced a new partnership with the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity (GCHC).

Glasgow Children’s Hospital offers specialised care and treatment for more complex and rare diseases or conditions that many other hospitals across Scotland and the North of England cannot offer. The charity raises funds to help support the hospital with new equipment and improved child treatment facilities. The charity also provides entertainment facilities and social activities for the sick children.

Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity relies on donations to fund life changing equipment, support services and research at Scotland’s largest children’s hospital. Whether it is from donations, fundraising or volunteering, support from the community will help children and families during their most difficult days. Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity fundraise to ensure that every baby, child and young person treated at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow receives the extra special care they deserve.

The Joinery Network frequently hosts events throughout the United Kingdom and always partners with local charities and donates all ticket revenue to those charities in need. At our first event supporting GCHC, the Network raised £300 from attendees for the charity.

Moving forward, all Joinery Network events based in Scotland will be raising money to support the charity and Leitz tooling will be looking to incorporate the charity into its 2025 WeCare sustainability campaign. Leitz works with a lot of charities across the UK, but GCHC makes a real effort to positively impact the lives of thousands of children across the nation.

Leitz says it is thrilled to become a “proud partner” for 2024 and is excited to find news ways to fundraise in 2025.

The next Joinery Network Event will be hosted on the 12 September at Leitz Tooling, Harlow.
