PassivGlas, a UK specialist in advanced vacuum glazing, is opening the doors of its headquarters for a two-day Open Day event this February, offering visitors the chance to experience the real world performance of PassivGlas Vacuum Glazing first hand.

Taking place at PassivGlas HQ, Ash House in Prenton, Merseyside, the event will bring together professionals from across glazing, conservation and energy efficiency, alongside those with a direct interest in low carbon building solutions.

Visitors will be able to see, hear and feel the difference through PassivGlas interactive heat and acoustic demonstration booths, showcasing exceptional thermal insulation and sound reduction. The technology delivers warmer, quieter homes while significantly reducing long term energy demand and carbon impact, without the need to replace existing windows and doors.

Ian Henderson, Managing Director at PassivGlas, said: “This is performance you can touch, hear, and trust. We want people to experience vacuum glazing in action, not just read about it.”

Alongside live demonstrations, the Open Days will feature a series of guest speakers from leading industry bodies and public sector organisations, including:

Tuesday 10 February 2026, 9.00am to 12.00pm

Sarah Cresswell from the Glass and Glazing Federation will share insight into the Federation’s work supporting and educating professionals across the glazing industry.

Agustina Solassi, Principal Heritage Officer for Wirral, will discuss how the borough is leading the way in heritage led approaches to energy efficiency.

Wednesday 11 February 2026, 2.00pm to 5.00pm

Andy Hobson will present on the Central Lodge Grade II renovation project, highlighting the role of vacuum glazing in sensitive historic building upgrades.

Kevin Aisbitt from the Energy Innovation Agency will introduce the Agency’s work and explain how they support companies like PassivGlas through access to long term clients and innovation networks.

Light refreshments will be available on both days.
