Trek the Inca Trail with PiGs and Harry’s Pals

Machu Picchu – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World – and a top bucket list destination. Now, Modern Joinery’s sister publication, PiGs AKA People in Glazing Society, and its charity of the year, Harry’s Pals, are offering the chance to join the ‘Machu PiGchu’ team and trek the Inca Trail, become a globetrotter and experience this life-changing challenge while supporting Harry’s Pals.

What’s Happening?

From 2 to 11 October 2026, we’re inviting the glazing industry to join PiGs on an amazing journey: trek the Inca Trail to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu. It’s the perfect blend of personal challenge, team spirit, and meaningful impact. Together, the team will forge unforgettable memories, and raise vital funds for Harry’s Pals – a cause close to the hearts of many in the industry.

Anyone who followed the PiGs Kilimanjaro trek in 2024 will know of the incredible adventure they had while raising an extraordinary amount of money for charity.

Why Join the Machu PiGchu Team?

  1. Achieve a Bucket-List Dream
Imagine standing at the top the Sun Gate as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu. This is your opportunity to conquer the legendary Inca Trail.
  2. Support Harry’s Pals
Harry’s Pals provides essential support for families with seriously ill or disabled children, ensuring they get the care and guidance they need during challenging times. By joining this trek, you’ll help bring hope and support to those who need it most.
  3. Connect with Fellow PiGs
The glazing industry thrives on collaboration, and this challenge is no exception. You’ll share this unforgettable journey with peers, building bonds that will last a lifetime. It’s networking, but with a view so stunning it’ll leave you squealing with joy!
  4. Challenge Yourself
This isn’t just a walk in the park – it’s a test of endurance, resilience, and determination. Completing the Inca Trail is a personal achievement you’ll cherish forever.

What’s Included?

PiGs’ chosen organisers, Discover Adventure will guide us every step of the way. Trek the Inca Trail includes breathtaking scenery, cultural immersion, and a chance to explore Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. For full details, check out the itinerary here: Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
