The Joinery Network says the time is right for timber at PWE
Visitors made a beeline to The Joinery Network’s stand at Professional Woodworking Expo (PWE), as the doors opened on Tuesday 23 June.
Despite the extraordinary heatwave and the England game both threatening to put a damper on Day 1, there was a lot of interest in manufacturing timber windows and doors.
Andy Ball, MD at The Joinery Network said: “Many joiners came onto the TJN stand to say they were seeing the increase in demand for timber windows and doors, and wanted to add or expand manufacturing windows and doors.
“They had done their research and already knew that we had a solution, so came armed with questions about how we work.
“The Lignum timber window and door range is fully tested and certified, with a proven manufacturing system designed to reduce costs for joinery companies. We have also developed and implemented an end-to-end AI management system.
“It was easy to demonstrate this to visitors at the demo zone, where out Technical Director Owen Dare was making Lignum timber windows live.
“In the demo area we had a Vertonghen machine installed by Markfield Woodworking Machinery, with Lignum tooling by Leitz Tooling UK, and was one of the busiest stands in the show.
“Everyone was impressed by the new Lignum Door range featuring RegaLead’s decorative glass.
“We are a distribution partner with them, and we were able to take visitors to their nearby stand to see more designs and the quality of craftsmanship for themselves. The new photo realistic door designer truly wow-ed.
“Close by were also Joinerysoft which includes all TJN products in their cloud system.
“Being opposite Leitz meant working closely with their team, and it worked brilliantly, and with so many of our partners that we could introduce to both customers and prospects, this has been a super start to the show.”
The Joinery Network will write a full roundup for the next edition of Modern Joinery News.
