PiGs names Harry’s Pals as its Charity of the Year for 2025-2026

Modern Joinery’s sister publication, PiGs aka the People in Glazing Society has announced that Harry’s Pals is its Charity of the Year for 2025 and 2026.

Harry’s Pals provides crucial emotional support to parents facing the life-changing news that their child has a severe illness or disability.

PiGs and Harry’s Pals’ goal is to raise £100,000 over the next two years to help the charity roll out a national programme, ensuring more families receive the care they desperately need.

About Harry’s Pals
Founded by Hayley Charlesworth after her son Harry was born with significant brain damage in 2015, the charity fills a critical gap in emotional support for families. Harry’s Pals provides:

  • Free bespoke counselling and therapy sessions to build resilience and coping mechanisms for parents.
  • Short breaks for families to create positive memories during precious moments.
  • Campaigns for better support for families affected by disability.
