JFJ Wood Flooring offers extra profits for joiners in 2025

When joiner John Fanthorpe set up JFJ Wood Flooring in the early 2000s, under the umbrella of his joinery business JF Joinery (SW) Ltd, he couldn’t have predicted the success of adding wood flooring for the family business.

John’s son, Tom joined the family business in 2011 to focus on the wood flooring side. Fast forward 13 years, and Tom is sharing his expertise with more joinery companies to bring them extra profit opportunities.

“Because we’re a joinery company ourselves, and work closely with joiners, we know the type of jobs where selling flooring makes a fantastic add-on” said Tom.

“Windows, doors, kitchens and extensions all lend themselves to offering wood flooring. We have sourced a complete range of wood flooring and luxury vinyl tiles to suit a variety of projects and budgets, and we’re now launching a complete trade programme for joinery businesses to take advantage of.

“Joiners can choose to buy at trade prices and sell it themselves, or simply refer their customer to us and receive an excellent commission. Either way, we will send samples direct to their customers and manage everything including the delivery.

“JFJ Wood Flooring offers joiners fast turnaround times on quotes and deliveries, plus trade prices. As well as all the products on our website, www.jfjwoodflooring.co.uk, there are more than 150 engineered wood floorboards as additional design options, plus we will be launching an exclusive trade range with special prices early in 2025.

“We feel confident that we can roll this service out to more joiners because already 60 percent of orders come from satisfied, repeat customers and recommendations.

“There’s not much we don’t know about wood flooring,” adds Tom. “That’s why the time is right for us to help more joinery businesses to bring in more profit from flooring in 2025.”

UAP says firemongery “should be treated seriously”

Elliott Dawson, National Accounts Manager at UAP, explains why firemongery is more than a finishing touch.
