Donaldson Timber Systems appoints Andrew Carpenter

Donaldson Timber Systems (DTS) has appointed Andrew Carpenter to the role of Strategic Advisor, supporting business growth and expanding their presence across the housing sector.

Andrew is said to bring a wealth of experience and respected industry insight, having championed timber construction for decades. As CEO of Constructing Excellence Midlands and former CEO of the Structural Timber Association, he has long been a leading advocate for Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and sustainable timber building solutions.

Andrew has reportedly been instrumental in shaping the Timber in Construction Roadmap — a vital step towards increasing the use of timber frame across the UK.

With the Government’s ambition to build 1.5m new homes and their commitment to the Affordable Homes Programme with a clear focus on MMC, the opportunity for sustainable, scalable timber frame solutions has never been greater.

Andrew will work closely with the DTS sales team to share knowledge, open new opportunities, and strengthen connections with housing organisations to embrace high-performance timber frame systems, supporting their mission to build better, faster, sustainably and safely.
