CRASH Big March 2025

CRASH’s BIG March raises funds for vital causes

CRASH’s BIG March raises funds for vital causes

Last month, supporters from across the construction industry came together for CRASH’s BIG March, stepping up to raise vital funds for people experiencing homelessness and those in hospice care.

Participants took on the 310,000-step challenge, with the goal of making a difference while braving all that the unpredictable March weather had to offer.

From early morning dog walks to scenic strolls through parks and along city streets, those who took on the challenge clocked up an amazing number of steps. Their efforts raised an incredible £3,260 in aid of CRASH’s vital work.

The BIG March gathered incredible support from across the industry, with teams from Corporate Patrons ACO Technologies, Arcadis, Beale & Co, British Gypsum, Huws Gray, JNP Group and VolkerFitzpatrick. Charity Partner Bellrock Group also took part and Supporters ECD Architects and Iceni Projects. All walking, running, and marching together for a good cause.

Many went above and beyond to tackle the BIG March and fundraise; from half marathons – like the team from Corporate Patron Arcadis, to climbing up Snowdon, with Byrony Reynolds from Corporate Patron JNP Group even hiking around Wet Grooves Mine in North Yorkshire to explore the area and get some steps in! Colleagues from Corporate Patron ACO Technologies even set a goal to reach 3,080,000 steps, the walk from their UK headquarters of Shefford to their Germany headquarters of Rendsburg, and not only did they hit that goal, but ACO smashed it with a total of 4,525,155 steps!

CRASH team members also got involved, with Projects Manager Vipesh Mistry, finishing in first place with an impressive 406,457 steps! A little friendly competition spurred the team on, making the challenge even more fun and engaging for everyone involved.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of everyone who took part and their generous sponsors, the BIG March raised much-needed funds for CRASH’s vital work supporting homelessness charities and hospices. Wind, rain, or shine, the supporters of CRASH went the extra mile – to help create places that care for people at their most vulnerable.

A huge thank you to everyone who took on the challenge, made donations, and supported the BIG March. We couldn’t have done it without you!
