Corialis Group acquires GUTMANN Group

GUTMANN Group has announced the upcoming sale of GUTMANN to Corialis Group.

The upcoming sale includes the European operations of GUTMANN. The international GUTMANN trademark ownership (outside Europe) will remain with the previous owners.

The sale is subject to the approval of the competition authorities.

GUTMANN is a manufacturer of aluminium extruded products and architectural solutions for aluminium and wood-aluminium windows, doors and facades.

The sale agreement includes the companies GUTMANN, GUTMANN Bausysteme, COLOR/G Aluminium, and the Swiss entity GUTMANN Aluswiss AG.

The transaction reflects the strategic commitment of the previous owners to focus on GUTMANN’s non-European operations while unlocking growth opportunities for the European business under new ownership.

The sale is said to mark a significant milestone in GUTMANN’s journey. The employees have reportedly played an essential role in delivering exceptional results over the years, and the previous ownership expresses its heartfelt gratitude to them for their outstanding contribution, dedication and collaboration.

Bruno Fijten, Managing Director GUTMANN, said: “We are incredibly proud of the growth we have achieved over the last years and the level we have achieved establishing the company as a leader in the aluminium systems market. It has been an amazing journey, and we want to sincerely thank all our employees from the bottom of our hearts for their dedication and hard work.

“Joining Corialis marks an exciting new chapter for GUTMANN Germany. Corialis’ strong presence in Europe, commitment to sustainability and focus on innovation make it the perfect home for GUTMANN’s continued growth.

“We are confident that GUTMANN’s customers, employees and partners will benefit greatly from the opportunities this partnership will create.

“Moving forward, the previous owners will focus more than ever on the GARTNER EXTRUSION in Gundelfingen, Germany, and the GUTMANN operations outside of Europe, which are not part of this transaction.”

Johan Verstrepen, CEO of Corialis Group, added: “We are very excited to add GUTMANN’s European operations to Corialis and view this as an important milestone in our growth strategy.

“Along with the regional complementarity, we are impressed by the factory and the machinery in place, combined with a well-diversified product portfolio, known for its quality.

“I would also like to extend a very warm welcome to the GUTMANN employees of Weissenburg as they join the Corialis family. Our plan is to maintain the GUTMANN brand under the current management team and continue to build on its success story together.”

The acquisition includes the GUTMANN European operations of the business, while all international operations will continue under the previous ownership. The global business will pursue growth through a combination of strategic partnerships and licensing agreements in countries worldwide, ensuring a robust presence across key markets.
