Hodgson Sealants’ Jonathan Orman takes on Yorkshire Marathon

Hodgson Sealants’ Technical Manager, Jonathan Orman, is preparing to take on the Altra Yorkshire Marathon next month to help raise money for seriously ill children across the UK.

Jonathan, who is based at the sealant manufacturer’s Heckmondwike site, will run the marathon in York on 18 October in support of Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.

With over half of his £300 target already raised, Hodgson Sealants is appealing for donations to get our beloved team member over the finishing line.

As Jonathan puts it on his JustGiving page: “I invite you to join me in making a difference. Your generous donation will directly fund specialist nursing care that transforms lives every day.

“Together, we can bring hope and healing to thousands of children who need it most.”

Hodgson Sealants says Jonathan’s chosen charity is nothing short of incredible. They provide specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children across the UK – with over 300 Roald Dahl Nurses currently caring for more than 60,000 children nationwide.

These nurses are said to be a vital lifeline to the whole family, coordinating care and providing emotional support so no one has to face a serious illness alone – bringing to life the same spirit of comfort and magic found in tales like The BFG.

As the need for this compassionate care continues to grow, fundraisers such as Jonathan have become even more important, with children and families across the UK relying on the charity’s dedicated nurses to improve quality of life and provide essential support.

Everybody at Hodgson Sealants wishes Jonathan the best of luck and hopes he can go above and beyond his £300 target for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.

For those who want to contribute, you can donate on Jonathan’s JustGiving page.
