Ventrolla’s Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge Raises £1,600

A team of six staff members from Ventrolla, and sister business RFM Group, have successfully completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, raising over £1,600 for Martin House Children’s Hospice.

Taking on the gruelling 24-mile Three Peaks Challenge, through the Yorkshire Dales during a sweltering 27°C heatwave, the team – Hollie Littlewood, Jarrod Marchant, Becky Hirst, Madison Barber, Terry Armstrong and Jen Watson – completed the challenge within the 12-hour target.

Martin House, a local charity based in Boston Spa, provides care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. It’s a cause close to the hearts of many at Ventrolla who have supported the hospice for several years.

This marks the second consecutive year the business has taken on the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise funds for charity, following last year’s effort in support of Alzheimer’s Society. Plans are already in motion for a third challenge in 2026.

“This year’s challenge was a real test of endurance with the heat, but knowing we were raising money for such an important local charity kept us all going,” said Hollie Littlewood. “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together and thankful for all the generous donations.”

Ventrolla and RFM Group continue to champion community causes as part of their commitment to giving back and making a difference beyond the workplace.

UAP says firemongery “should be treated seriously”

Elliott Dawson, National Accounts Manager at UAP, explains why firemongery is more than a finishing touch. With scrutiny and regulations tightening, he argues that specification, installation and maintenance need to be treated as seriously as the doors themselves because firemongery is frontline safety.
