The Furniture Makers’ Company Golf Day returns for 2025

The Furniture Makers’ Company, the City of London livery company and charity for the furnishing industry, is delighted to announce the return of its longest running fundraiser, the National Golf Day, sponsored by Bensons for Beds.

Taking place on Wednesday 16 July 2025 at the Northamptonshire County Golf Club, the National Golf Day promises a day of sport, networking, and philanthropy in support of the UK furniture and furnishing industry’s dedicated charity.

Consistently ranked among England’s top 100 courses, Northamptonshire County Golf Club offers the perfect setting for a day of spirited competition and charitable giving. The event features a Stableford full handicap competition, with participants enjoying breakfast on arrival, a two-course lunch, prize giving, and a charity raffle. Registration, practice, and bacon rolls begin at 11:30am, with a 1:00pm tee-off.

More than just a round of golf, the National Golf Day helps raise vital funds for the furnishing industry’s charity. Proceeds go towards aiding those in financial hardship and supporting the development of young professionals.

Jonny Westbrooke, CEO of The Furniture Makers’ Company, said: “The National Golf Day is a brilliant way to come together as an industry, enjoy some friendly competition, and raise funds for a cause that supports our entire sector. We’re incredibly grateful to Bensons for Beds for their continued support and can’t wait to welcome players to one of the country’s finest courses this July.”

Those unable to attend can still get involved through sponsorship and donation opportunities, with packages offering great value and visibility on the day. Team entry is £468 +VAT and individual entry is £117 + VAT. To book your place, go to: www.furnituremakers.org.uk/events/national-golf-day-2025
