JJ Smith to host future of house building open day event

Woodworking machinery experts JJ Smith is to host an open event on 4 and 5 February at its Liverpool showroom.

The event, The Future of House Building: Machinery Showcase will aim to explore the latest innovations in industrialised construction by bringing together industry leaders.

In partnership with New Homes in New Ways and Modular Building Automation, the two-day show will demonstrate how cutting-edge machinery and techniques can accelerate the delivery of high-quality new homes.

Through live technical demonstrations and engaging key-note discussions, attendees will gain first hand insight into the future of house building.

Keynote sessions will include Councillor Graham Morgan – Leader of Knowsley Council, Tracy Gordon – Lead Housing Partnerships Officer at Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Emma Fletcher – Low Carbon Homes Director at Octopus Energy, Mike Doolan – Sales and Partnerships Manager at LoCal Homes, Paul Wilson – Production Director at Walker Timber Engineering, Jan Willem Dijkstra – Managing Director at H&M Machines and Ele George – Founding Director at Elevate

The show is free to attend and will run between 10am and 4pm on 4 and 5 February, at JJ Smith, Moorgate Road, Knowsley Industrial Park, Liverpool, L33 7DR.
